LYONS FARMETTE

The Lyons Farmette is a 4 acre property near the St. Vrain River just outside the town of Lyons ~ just 20 minutes from Boulder. The farm is an intimate space with rustling cottonwood trees and the glitter of the sun from our small stream. Your wedding will be surrounded by our boutique flower farm, where we grow flowers and vegetables for weddings and farm dinners. We raise Alpacas, chickens and adorable dwarf goats, all who make a fun addition to your special day. We have a lovely Farmette house as a dressing area as well as our charming restored Airstream trailer. We can provide gorgeous flowers and organic produce for your dinner. The Farmette is the place for a unique, authentic, and natural wedding true to your adventurous spirit and uncommon love.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Use of all facilities, including plumbed-in restrooms, commercial kitchen space, Airstream bridal suite, sailcloth tent, wedding lawn, and extensive gardens, from 12:00 to 11:00 pm on the rental date.
- Tables and chairs for up to 125 people.
- Vintage 1954 Chevy truck to be placed where you like.
- Services of a venue manager to turn on lights, maintain bathrooms, set up sound systems, light bonfire, and solve any venue-related problems.
- A one-hour walk-through consultation with Farmette staff, and time for a rehearsal on the day before your wedding.
Both venues have limits on volume, but you can have plenty of fun!
- The Farmette: Amplified music at a regulated decibel level. Bands without drums are allowed.
- River Bend: A purely acoustic venue. Amplification is allowed at certain times and for certain purposes. We encourage silent discos ☺
1 portable amplifier with both a corded and a cordless microphone and inputs for an iPod or laptop and up to 2 amplified instruments, plus 2 mic stands. The second sound system includes two large speakers and a mixer for dancing.
Yes; both venues are equipped with enough tables and chairs for the maximum guest capacity, along with extras for welcome tables, DJs, and so forth. Tables are 8’ plastic banquet tables, and chairs are a blonde wood with cream-colored cushions.
Yes; both venues have plumbed-in restrooms. The Farmette has 6 stalls and an ADA handicapped porta-potti, while River Bend has 5 stalls, including a plumbed-in ADA handicapped stall.
- At the moment, we do not have in-house coordination. We work very closely with Dahlia Events and Designs , and we strongly recommend hiring them for your wedding, since they have so much experience at our venues.
- When you book our venue, we will assign you a venue manager, who will answer any of your questions via email or phone, lead your 1-hour walkthrough consultation, schedule your rehearsal, and be onsite to make sure everything runs smoothly on your big day.
